Second verse, same as the first. The inside of the top was first sanded to remove the machine shaping marks and then the position of the bass bar was marked in pencil –

Tiny wood cleats were employed to keep the bar aligned for fitting and gluing –

White chalk is so much easier to clean up after fitting!

It was easier the second time around. The kit bass bar was already shaped somewhat, so the fitting went quickly and easily.

All clamped up! Damn, my work tables are a mess! You might not understand how I can work amid such chaos, but I honestly don’t notice until I start snapping pictures.
